Two JeM militants killed, searches on

Srinagar: Two Jaish-i Muhammad militants were killed in a gunfight in the Mouchwa area of Budgam district.

A top Police officer told that two militants bodies are visible, possibly there could be one more as searches are still underway.

Earlier, Reports said that a joint team of Srinagar Police, Budgam Police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Mouchwa.

As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.

Pertinently, this is the second encounter of this week, yesterday one militant was killed, while another surrendered in South Kashmir
