Tehran warns of intensified strikes if energy sites targeted

Iran Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran used only a “fraction” of its firepower in attacks on regional energy infrastructure after Israel struck Iran’s South Pars gasfield, and warned of “zero restraint” if Iran’s energy facilities are targeted again. Iran’s attack on the Ras Laffan gas facility will cut Qatar’s liquefied natural gas export capacity by an estimated 17 percent, which could disrupt supplies to Europe, Asia and beyond. The US Department of Defense is seeking $200bn from Congress to fund US President Donald Trump’s war on Iran, which Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said has no “timeframe” for ending. The Iranian Red Crescent says at least 204 children have been killed in US-Israeli attacks on Iran as the war enters its 21st day and the overall death toll in Iran exceeds 1,444 people. More than 1,000 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2, including 118 children, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.
