Sopore killing: Seven members of particular party were wearing helmets, is this a political terrorism, asks Altaf Thakur
Srinagar, April, 17: Seven members of a particular political party were wearing cricket helmets when two councilors of BJP were killed in Sopore attack, Spokesperson of BJP Altaf Thakur said on Saturday.
“Seven members of a particular political party were wearing cricket helmets when two of our Municipal Councillors were killed in a militant attack in Sopore in north Kashmir’ Baramulla district recently, where a policeman also lost his life”, he tweeted.
Is this political terrorism, he questioned while adding that wearing helmets they were aware of the militant attack and police must investigate the matter.
“Were these seven members already knowing that there will be a militant attack? why were they wearing helmets? Police must investigate it thoroughly after all it is about putting the lives of BJP workers, leaders/councilors at a risk,” He tweeted later.
