Soldier commits suicide in Shopian

Shopian, Dec 03 : An army soldier of 62 RR committed suicide during the intervening night in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said.

An official said that a soldier identified as Chandra Patil posted at 62 RR headquarters in the Zawoora area of Shopian shot himself dead while on duty late yesterday night.

He said that in this regard a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated
