Police Station Soura arrested two notorious drug peddlers, contraband recovered

Srinagar Police continuing its war against drugs peddlers, today Police Party of Police Station Soura led by SHO Soura Inspector Shri Tanveer Ahmad arrested one notorious drug peddler and recovered contraband from his possession. Police party during naka checking apprehended one notorious drug peddler Umer Iqbal Gadoo s/o Farooq Ahmad Gadoo r/o Kokerbagh Zonimer along with 100 tablets of tramadol and one gram of brown sugar and ? 10,000 cash.

In this connection case FIR No. 58/2021 u/s 8/22 NDPS has been lodged in Police Station Soura.The accused has been arrested and contraband seized on spot.

In previous week Police party led by SDPO Soura Shri Shafaat Ahmad arrested one more notorious drug peddler Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat @Rahil r/o Housing Colony Elahibagh Soura and recovered 400 tablets of banned drug tapendatol from his possession.The accused is presently on police Remand in FIR No. 52/2021u/s8/22 NDPS
