Paddy Harvest Set Ablaze in Lolab Village

Kupwara, Oct 13: At least two heaps of paddy harvest belonging to a destitute family were gutted in a mysterious blaze at the Krusan area of Lolab in the district on Tuesday morning.

Reports said that the paddy heaps belonging to Saja Begum wife of Late Abdul Jabbar Tantray were reduced to ashes, despite desperate attempts by the locals to douse off the flames.

Meanwhile, the local Civil Society has urged the district administration to grant assistance to the destitute family in this hour of need.
