Massive hailstorm wreaks havoc in Bhatnoor, Karmulla, other areas of Tral, damages crops

Tral,21 May: A massive hailstorm on Friday evening wreaked havoc in Bhatnoor, Karmulla, and other areas of Tral resulting in damage to the standing crops.

One of the locals from Karmulla Gujjar Basti told Arising State that the area received a massive hailstorm suddenly, which continued for seven to eight minutes.

He said that besides maize and other crops, the walnut crop also suffered damage as the leaves of walnut trees were seen on the ground.

As seen in the pictures, a hailstorm was accumulated like snow and caused damage to crops in the area.

Reports of hailstorms were received from Doodhmarg, Brenpathri & other areas of Lalpora in Tral as well.
