MAJOR SUCCESS AGAINST GAMBLING; STAKES INCLUDING CASH/VEHICLES WORTH LAKHS RECOVERED/ SEIZED; 07 HELD AT DRANG

Baramulla Police received reliable information regarding presence of gamblers at Drung Park Tangmarg; Baramulla jurisdiction of Police Station Tangmarg, reacting on the information, Police Party of Police Station Tangmarg rushed towards spot and arrested seven gamblers from the said spot.

Playing cards alongwith stake money of ₹ 1,32,000/- were recovered from them and 02 vehicles (Alto JK01AH-1415, Santro-JK01S-2079) were also seized from gambling spot. Case under sections of 13 Gambling Act registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigation set into motion.
