Labourer’s Daughter, Govt School Student Hadiya Rafiq Secures 491/500 in Class 10 Without Coaching

Awantipora, May 2: In a heartwarming story of grit and perseverance, Hadiya Rafiq, a student of Government High School Awantipora, has scored an impressive 491 out of 500 in the recently announced Class 10 board results, without private tuition. Hadiya, who hails from Iqbal Colony in Awantipora and is the daughter of a labourer, has emerged as a beacon of hope and determination for other students.

In conversation with the Arising State Correspondent, Hadiya credited hard work, her parents’ support, and her committed teachers for her achievement. “I studied with full concentration, and my teachers never failed to assist me. My parents supported me throughout each hurdle,” she added.

Looking forward, Hadiya is looking forward to joining the coveted civil services and working in her capacity towards the service of the public through her future roles. “I want to join the civil service and make my contribution to society,” she imparted.

Earlier, The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced the JKBOSE 10th and 12th results 2025 on April 30, with an overall pass percentage of 79.94 per cent was registered in the JKBOSE 10th result.
