IED spotted in Pulwama, defused: Police

Police said that it averted a major tragedy on Friday morning with the detection of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Circle Road on Tahab road in Pulwama district.

The bomb disposal squad was called to spot to destroy the planted IED, an official said.

“Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detected at Circle Road, #Pulwama. Destroyed by Bomb Disposal Squad. A major incident averted. Further details shall follow,” tweeted Kashmir Zone Police.
