Emergency helpline launched by Pulwama Police as heavy rain and thunderstorms predicted

Pulwama, August 18: Amid forecast of lightning, thunderstorms, and heavy rainfall, Pulwama Police has set up an Emergency Helpline to assist the public and prevent any untoward incidents.

Residents, especially those living near the River Jhelum and local nallahs, are strictly advised not to venture close to water bodies until weather conditions improve. The public is urged to remain cautious during the weather advisory period from 17th to 19th August 2025.
