Crackdown on illegal mining in Qalamabd, Three tippers and Two JCB seized

Cracking down on illegal mining, and violation of lockdown Qalamabad police on Saturday seized two JCB and three tippers in Mawer area of Kupwara.
“Acting upon the complaints, police swung into action and during a raid at Nallah Mawer, seized three tippers and 2 JCB’s on the spot while extracting sand,” he said.
The SHO Qalamabd Javid Ahmad, confirmed the action to KNS, we have installed checkpoints to check the illegal sand, Bajri excavation, he said.
The Locals hailed the efforts of police to preserve the resources.
