COP shot dead in Srinagar
Srinagar, June 17 : Unidentified gunmen shot at a policeman at Sadpora Safakadal area of Srinagar this evening.
Sources said that unknown gunmen fired upon a police constable who was in civilian clothing.
As per sources the police constable suffered injuries to neck and later shifted to SKIMS where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police constable has been identified as Javaid Ahmed Kambay.
Sources added that the cop is the security guard of a High Court Judge.
