Cop dies of cardiac arrest in south Kashmir’s Awantipora

A policeman died of a heart attack on the intervening night of Tuesday reports say. The cop identified as Aijaz Ahmed posted at District Police Lines Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district,a resident of Ladhoo in Pampore area of the south Kashmir district suffered a massive cardiac arrest, leading to his death.

The officials said the body will be handed over to the family after the conduct of necessary medico-legal formalities.
