Srinagar, August 10: An fierce gunfight is underway between militants and security forces in Waterhail area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.

The Kashmir Police Zone while quoting ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar wrote, ” 03 militants of militant outfit LeT(TRF) including militant Lateef Rather trapped in ongoing encounter. Militant Lateef is involved in several civilian killings including Rahul Bhat & Amreen Bhat,”.(GNS)
