CB Kahmir carries out raids in Srinagar, Pampore

The Crime Branch Kashmir today conducted raids at several places in Srinagar and Pampore in relation to FIR 02/2020 U/S 468,471,120-B IPC 5(2) PC Act of Police Station Crime Branch Kashmir.
In a statement issued, the case was registered following the complaint of Misappropriation of funds JKPCC Unit officials. These Officers of JKPCC were involved in embezzlement of Government funds which led to huge financial losses to the Government Exchequer. Raids are presently going on at four Locations in Srinagar and Pampore. During the searches incriminating material has been seized as per the procedure established which is being examined in the case. Further details are awaited.
