Anantnag Police arrests a drug peddler; Psychotropic substance recovered

Srinagar ,31 March : Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, on a specific information one person namely Jan Mohammad Thoker S/O Abdul Majeed Thoker R/O Rooh Anantnag was apprehended with 466 intoxicating capsules Trap spas and Mefar Pd ( Tramadol), another person Vakeel Ahmad Parray S/O Ab Rehman Parray R/O Nouvath Dantar Anantnag managed to escape from the spot.
In this connection Case FIR No.61/2021 Under Section 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered and investigation taken up.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law.
