Amid snowfall, Municipal Council Sopore tours different areas, issues emergency number

Sopore, Jan 05 : Irfan Ali, Municipal Council Sopore, on Tuesday afternoon, toured different areas in his jurisdiction, to take stock of the situation, in view of the snowfall.

During his visit, Irfan took note of the problems, faced by the locals amid heavy snowfall, and assured them of redressal.

He also issued a helpline number for the residents & asked them to call him, in case of any emergency, on his phone number 9906878666.

Talking to the media, he said that “i came to know that people have been facing immense problems for last two days, due to the snowfall, and in this regard, i issued a helpline number.”

He further said that “people can call on the helpline number, following which their issues will be timely redressed.”

It’s pertinent to mention here that heavy snowfall from Sunday wreaked havoc, in nook and corner of the valley.
