Gurez receive first snowfall of the season

For the first time in the season, Gurez is set to turn white, even as Razdan, Tualail,Bagtore and other adjoining areas are already covered under a white blanket.

An official told Kashmir news service that, the first light spell of snow started around 01 am on Saturday after moderate rains, and icy winds brought the temperature down to sub-zero level.

Razdan pass-The only vehicular route of this valley also received moderate rainfall and then light snowfall at around 3 am on Saturday.

Earlier, the vehicular movement on this only vehicular route towards this valley was suspended as directed by the sub-divisional magistrate Gurez keeping in view the weather Advisories as issued by the MET Department.
