Summoning Dr Farooq by ED’ GoIs nervousness: Mehbooba Mufti

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti Monday termed the summoning of Dr Farooq Abdullah by Enforcement Directorate’ GoIs nervousness towards collective fight of J&K political parties for restoration of Article 370, saying the move won’t in the least blunt our collective resolve to fight for our rights.

“ED’s sudden summon to Farooq sahab displays the extent of GOIs nervousness about mainstream parties in J&K fighting as one unit. Also reeks of political vendetta & won’t in the least blunt our collective resolve to fight for our rights”, Mehbooba Mufti in a tweet said.

Earlier in the day National Conference President and signatory of Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration was summoned by ED to it Srinagar office. The move was condemned by former chief minister Omar Abdullah who termed it “political vendetta”.
