Mehbooba being victimized for holding views opposite to Govt: Fayaz Mir

Fayaz Ahmed Mir today criticized the Government for the ‘unjustified’  detention of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and called it unjust to extend her detention for another three months.
Peoples’ Democratic Party, MP said, ‘former Chief Minister is being victimized for her views and today’s decision again reflects the intolerance of present dispensation with the people who dare to speak the truth’.
” It is against the basic principles of Democracy to detain a woman, former Chief Minister for more than a year, he said.
He urged the government to release her immediately.
