Elderly pilgrim dies on way to Amarnath cave

A Pilgrim from Rajasthan to this year’s Pilgrimage to Amarnath, Parhlad Rai (63-year-old) , son of Chothmal Jeengar has died in transit due to cardiac arrest at Baltal base camp land, in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal,according to reports.

It was gathered that first aid treatment was administered on him  after he felt chest pain , he was later taken to a nearby medical camp where he breathed his last.

Its worthy to mention here that many elderly pilgrims like late Parhlad Rai have  died due to cardiac arrest  en voyage Amaranth cave.
