Prime Minister congratulates Anant Nag Ji on being conferred Dadasaheb Phalke Award

16 SEP 2026 New Delhi : The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated legendary actor Shri Anant Nag Ji on being conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Shri Modi said that for several decades, Shri Anant Nag Ji’s effortless performances, remarkable versatility and artistic brilliance have left an indelible mark on Indian cinema, particularly Kannada cinema.

The Prime Minister said that the honour is richly deserved and reflects the immense contribution of Shri Anant Nag Ji to Indian cinema. He conveyed his best wishes to the distinguished artist on this special occasion.
