Gen Z is well-explored and can do wonders for J&K if given a platform without fear: Mehbooba Mufti

Baramulla, Apr 16 : Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday said the current Generation Z is “well-explored” and has the potential to do wonders for the union territory if provided a proper platform without “fear.”

Speaking at the party’s ‘Kath Baath’ interaction programme in Baramulla, the PDP President expressed confidence in the abilities of young people.

“Today’s Generation Z is so well explored. I am hopeful that if they are given a good platform without any fear, they can do wonders for Jammu and Kashmir,” she said.

The PDP president said she was amazed to hear the voice of Gen Z, adding that they have a lot of exposure and can help carry the voice of Jammu and Kashmir to bigger platforms if given an opportunity.

Describing the ‘Kath Baath’ gathering as a reflection of collective awareness and active public participation, Mehbooba Mufti thanked the people of Baramulla for turning up despite the short notice.

She said the platform was meant for people to express their pent-up feelings freely. (KNS)
