JK Govt Orders Transfers of JKAS Officers
Srinagar, Apr 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the transfer and posting of several JKAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 771-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated April 13, issued by the General Administration Department, Mr. Ranjit Singh, JKAS, who was serving as Special Secretary in the Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
Mr. Vaibhav Kohli, JKAS, previously posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, has been appointed as Excise Commissioner, J&K. He replaces Mr. Subash Chander Chhibber, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
Dr. Sunil Sharma, JKAS, Additional Secretary in the Home Department, has also been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
