All arrangements in place for Republic Day celebrations: Anshul Garg

Divisional commissionerKashmir Anshul Garg on Monday said that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth and peaceful Republic Day celebrations in Srinagar.
Speaking to reporters, the Divisional Commissioner said that children are enthusiastically participating in preparations, with rehearsals for cultural programmes already underway at Bakhshi Stadium.
He said the illumination of government buildings across the city has begun to mark the national occasion. “Republic Day is a very important festival for us. All departments are making preparations at their respective levels and offices to celebrate it in a befitting manner,” he added.
Anshul Garg further said that Srinagar is witnessing visible civic transformation under the Smart City Mission, with several infrastructure and public service projects nearing completion ahead of the Republic Day celebrations.
