Tragic Road Accident in Barsoo: One Dead, Three Injured

Awantipora, July 15: A tragic road accident occurred today at Barsoo in Awantipora South Kashmir when a truck (Registration No. JK03F 7828) and an Alto car (Registration No. JK18B 5329) collided, leaving one person dead and three others injured.

The accident took place on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway near Awantipora. All four victims were initially rushed to PHC Awantipora for emergency treatment. Due to the severity of their injuries, three of the injured were later shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for specialized care.

The deceased has been identified as Roaf Gull, 25, son of Gull Mohammad Lone, a resident of Kulgam.

The injured have been identified as: Abdul Rashid Shergujree, son of Gh Hassan, resident of Devsar, Kulgam, Showkat Ahmed Lone, son of Gull Mohammad, resident of Dardgund, Kulgam & One unidentified female passenger.
