Schools in Kashmir to Reopen Tuesday; Urban 7:30–11:30 AM, Rural 8:00–12:00 Noon: DSEK

Srinagar, July 7 : Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), G.N. Itoo, on Monday announced that all educational institutions across the Valley will reopen on Tuesday, July 8, following the scheduled summer break.

He informed  that schools falling under municipal limits will operate from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while those in rural areas will function from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

“There is no extension in the summer vacation. All schools, government and private, will reopen as planned,” Itoo said.

He also mentioned that after returning home, students will take a one-hour break, followed by two hours of online classes.

“We are geared up for smooth resumption of academic activities. I urge all stakeholders to ensure regular attendance from day one,” he added.(KNS)
