Grenade hurled at police station Shopian in south Kashmir
Militants lobbed a grenade at police station in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday night.
A police official said that at around 8.20 pm militants threw a grenade at the police station Shopian.
The grenade, however, exploded outside the boundary wall of the station, causing no loss of life or injuries, the official said.
He said that immediately after the attack an alert sentry retaliated by resorting to aerial firing.
