Militant hide-out busted in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal
Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in the Gagangeer area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
According to a police official the militant hideout was busted in Gagangeer area following “specific” inputs.
He said that incriminating material besides arms and ammunition was recovered from the hideout.
The cache included two wireless sets, grenade fuses, grenade clips, 50 AK rounds, two SLR rounds, six grenade covers, said the official.
Meanwhile,SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal said that recovery has been made and an investigation has been launched in the case. He further said that the operation was conducted by a joint team CRPF 118 BN and Police.
