Prof Rafi remembered at sociology dept of Kashmir University on first death anniversary

The students of sociology and other post graduate departments at Kashmir University (KU)commemorated the first death anniversary of prof.Muhammed Rafi Bhat .Prof Rafi from Ganderbal was killed on May 07 last year in an encounter with security forces along with other four millitants. The students participated in a silent protest  holding placards and banners and offered prayers for the slain prof.

The students recalled the contribution of Prof Rafi towards the department and his teachings that will keep him always alive said one of the students with wet eyes.

The silent protest last for about an hour and later the students dispersed peacefully .
