RR Swain Appointed as DGP of Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU, Aug 7: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has announced the appointment of RR Swain as the new Director General of Police (DGP) for Jammu and Kashmir. Swain, who has been serving in an additional capacity, will officially assume the role immediately. His tenure is set to extend until September 30, 2024, or until further orders are issued.
