World Food Day celebrated in ITI Pulwama

Pulwama: The World Food Day was celebrated in Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Pulwama district in South Kashmir on Monday.

On the occasion, students and staff members were present, while Superintendent of ITI pulwama Er G.N. SHAH was the Chief Guest.

An official has said that reason behind celebrating this day was to create awareness among the participants about the importance of food and water.

He said that during the celebration, last year toppers in FVP Trade were felicitated by the management & guests.

Pertinently, the goal of the day is to emphasise equal access to food, and water, promote sustainable agricultural practices and raise awareness about food-related issues.

World Food Day 2023 focuses on the collective responsibility of society to foster healthy and sustainable food systems.
