Bismillah Club Srinagar Celebrates National Sports Day

Srinagar: Bismillah Club in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar on Tuesday celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and fervor.

As per the official, the journey of Bismillah Club started around in the year 2009 and it has been growing since then, while it started its first branch at Naid kadal situated in the Downtown of Srinagar, and has successfully been able to open another branch at Nowhatta, and soon at other parts of downtown.

She said that, Presently Branches of Bismillah Club are at Hawal, Nawakadal, Fateh Kadal and Natipora as well, with more than 100 students attend the daily classes and an enormous number of students are also enrolled.

She further said that Celebrating Sports day Apart from the training of Sqay Martial Arts, aerobics and self defence is also being focused there, while special self defence classes are organised for girls.

“Bismillah Club has trained many black belts, International and national medalists, helping the children to achieve their goals. The one who is behind the truimph of this martial arts club is Shugufta Mehraj- the Head Coach of the club and her sister Maleeha Mehraj who also trains as a coach. All thanks to Mir Nazir, who is the Founder and Grand master Sqay Martial arts. He made this platform and all the clubs are following the footprints,” the official said.
