No ban on civilian traffic today:
Srinagar: After a week in effect, of the order of two-day ban on civil traffic on the national highway, Jammu and Kashmir police has said that there will be no ban on civilian traffic movement on the Kashmir highway today.
As per reports, CRPF has informed via telephone that on Wednesday, there shall be no movement of the convoy on NHW -44. “As such the Traffic plan issued earlier shall stand modified and normal traffic would ply on the NHW from Jammu towards Srinagar,” said a senior traffic cop.
The authorities on 4 April in order has banned civilian traffic twice in a week, Sundays and Wednesday, to allow convoy’s movement on the highway.
The spokesperson of CRPF has informed that civilian traffic on the Jammu Srinagar highway will be allowed and no convoy would travel on the route.
