Notorious drug peddler arrested, Contraband substance recovered by Pulwama Police

Pulwama 26 Dec : Continuing its efforts to rein the menace of drugs in district Pulwama, Pulwama Police arrested drug peddler and recovered huge quantity of contraband substances.
Acting on a specific information received by Pulwama Police that one namely Sabdar Ahmad Lone S/o Sharif Ahmad Lone R/o Arigam Pulwama is indulging in narcotic substances and has hoarded & concealed huge quantity of narcotic substances in his residential house, On this a Police Party raided the specific house at village Arigam Pulwama. On searching the said house, the Police Party recovered 4 kgs of Cannabis leaves & 180 gms charas from the spot and also arrested the accused person.
Accordingly a case FIR No. 379/2022 U/S 8/20 of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Pulwama and investigation initiated.
Pulwama Police appeals the people of the District to come forward with the information regarding drug peddlers so that curative steps can be taken
