LG Sinha calls Rajouri incident ‘very unfortunate

Announces Rs 5 lakh relief for both families

Srinagar, Dec 17 : Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Saturday called the incident in Rajouri, where two civilians were killed in a firing incident, as unfortunate and announced relief of Rs 5 lakh for both families.

Office of J&K LG in a Tweet said the incident in Rajouri is very unfortunate and also extended condolences to the bereaved families.

“The incident in Rajouri is very unfortunate. Condolences to the bereaved families. The price of a life cannot be set in monetary terms but still I announce an ex-gratia relief of Rs five lakh for each affected family,” Office of LG J&K tweeted.
