Outstanding Rent Issue: Aharbal Development Authority seals several buildings
Kulgam, Dec 11 : The Aharbal Development Authority on Sunday sealed several buildings that were given on rent as the renters have failed to pay the outstanding dues to the department.
CEO Aharbal Development Authority, Ghalib Hussain said the action was taken on the directions of deputy commissioner Kulgam and director tourism.
He said several buildings of the development authority were given on rent, however, the renters have failed to clear outstanding dues in time.
He said that some selfish elements want to occupy the government buildings, which the department can never tolerate.
“If the renters did not pay the outstanding amount at the earliest, then legal action will be taken against the defaulters,” he said. (KNS)
