Non-Local School Peon Shot at, Injured in Anantnag, Hospitalised:Police

Srinagar, November 03: A Non-Local school peon namely Bahadur resident of Nepal was shot at and injured after suspected militants fired upon him in Wanihama Dialgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday evening.

A senior police officer said that militants fired upon a non-local school peon from close range. He has been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

His status of health wasn’t available at the time this story was being filed.

Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the whole area to nab the attackers.
