SPO Shoots Himself Dead in Doda

Srinagar, Aug 8 : A Special Police Officer (SPO) shot himself dead with his service rifle at Sessions Court Doda this morning, official sources said.

Identifying him as Gurmesh Singh, a resident of Gandoh, the sources said that he died on spot.

Confirming the incident, a police official said that investigations into the matter have been taken up to ascertain the possible reason for the individual taking such an extreme step. (GNS)
