IED found along Sgr-Bla highway in Pattan, diffused

Pattan, July 06 : A suspected IED, which was found on Srinagar-Baramulla Highway at Pattan by a joint team of forces today early morning, has been diffused.

An official said that the IED was spotted by Road Opening Party of Army’s 29 RR near Kutta Mode along Srinagar- Baramulla highway.

He said that the IED was later diffused by bomb disposal squad and traffic movement along the highway was also restored.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
