Encounter breaks out in Shopian village: Police

An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Badigam area of Zainpora in Shopian district on Thursday, police said here.

An official said that encounter broke out in Badigam village, following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said police and security forces were on job, while further details will be shared accordingly.
