IGP Kashmir along with IG CRPF visits Navyug tunnel, hold joint meeting related to Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar, Feb 26 : Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar along with IG CRPF and other senior officials visited Navyug tunnel on Saturday and held a joint meeting related to Amarnath Yatra and also reviewed security arrangements of Navyug tunnel.

An official said that IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar along with IG CRPF, DIG Police, DIG CRPF, Army officers, SSP Anantnag and Kulgam visited Navyug Tunnel today, held joint meeting related to Shri Amarnath Yatra and reviewed security arrangements of Navyug Tunnel.

He said that SSP Anantnag and SSP Kulgam briefed the IGP in detail.

The official said that an expert from a private firm also demonstrated his IT interventions and special use of RFID for management of yatris convey before all officers.
