‘Youth Services Cup’ tournament concludes in Awantipora

Pulwama: The Youth Services and Sports Cup was concluded in Awantipora area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir on Thursday.

An official has said that, “Zone Awantipora successfully completed the Block Level Inter Panchayat open cricket tournament for boys, under the banner of Youth Services and Sports Cup (YSS Cup 2021).”

He said that tournament continued for several days, and was played at Sports Stadium Charligund Awantipora, in which nineteen panchayats of Block Awantipora & fourteen panchayats of block Dadasara participated, with full passion and spirit.

Avtar Singh (DDC member-Block Dadasara), Chairman of the tournament- Mr Bashir Ahmad Mir (Lecturer Physical Education), Officals of the Zone Awantipora, Media persons and Senior citizens were present on the final match.

On the occasion, Chief guest, Mr. Avtar Singh thanked the sports department of district Pulwama for conducting such well organized tournaments throughout the year.

He along with other guests advised the players to say ‘No To Drugs & Yes To Sports’, and wished gud luck to all the players.

Later on, medas and trophies were distributed among the players.
