ADC Tral visits Praganlar Irrigation Canal from Tral-i-Bala to Chatrogam

Tral, 25 Nov: Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral Shabir Ahmad Raina on Thursday evening visited Irrigation Canal from Tral e Bala to Chatrogam area.

On the occasion, he carried out exclusive inspection of the Praganlar Canal, in presence of Patwari Halqa Tral e Bala, and irrigation officials.

As per the official, “During the inspection it was found that banks of the canal were encroached at large scale.”

The official said that ADC Tral passed on the directions to Xen Irrigation Tral and Tehsildar Tral to carry out demarcation from Nai basti G.Park (Tral e Bala) to Chatrogam, “as exercise no one to furnish demarcation report to this office within a week time.”

As per a press release, “Concerned PH, GQ of Rev Deptt will assist to Irrigation Deptt in the course of exercise, while Irrigation Deptt shall carry out the exercise from 26-11-2021.”
