Petrol, diesel cut by ₹12 and ₹17 in J&K after UT admin announces additional reduction of ₹7

Srinagar, Nov 04: Day after the central government announced reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively, the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have decided to reduce additional Rs 7 on petrol and diesel in the Union Territory.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, office of the Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor said that the J&K has decided to reduce additional Rs 7 on petrol and diesel.

After reduction of additional Rs 7 on both the fuels, the price of petrol and diesel per litre will be Rs 12 and Rs 17 respectively in Jammu and Kashmir.
