Tral shuts down following militant commander’s killing in Waged encounter
Tral,14 October: A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral township of Southern Kashmir following the killing of militant commander in an encounter with govt forces on Wednesday.
Shameem Ahmad Sofi, a militant commander of JeM outfit was killed in the encounter with joint forces in Waged village of Tral.
Following his killing, around all the shops, except essential category, are closed today, while there is thin movement of traffic on the roads.
Shameem Ahmad Sofi (Sham Sofi) was the resident of Satoora village in Aripal tehsil of Tral, who was active for a last few years.
