13 persons fall ill after consuming forest mushroom in Ganderbal: Officials
At least 13 persons fell ill of which eight were referred to SKIMS Soura after consuming forest Mushroom (Jangal Hedar) at Banjar Basti locality of Gutlibagh in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district .
Sources said Jthat at least 13 persons including nine women were taken to the district hospital after they had consumed forest Mushroom locally known as (Jangal Hedarr) at Banjar Basti in Gutlibagh.
They said that soon after they consumed this they started vomiting, however, when nearby people came to know about this, they immediately informed Police Post Gutlibagh.
“The police party immediately reached the spot and shifted all 13 persons to sub-district Hospital Ganderbal where from eight of them were referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.”
A Police official said that three persons have been discharged from the hospital while the condition of one person was stated to be critical.(KNS)
