Militants attack CRPF party in Zainapora, no injury reported

Srinagar, Jun 21 : Suspected militants on Monday afternoon attacked Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) naka party at Babapora in Zainapora hamlet of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official told a local news agency that militants fired few shots towards 178 Bn CRPF party at Babapora, however, no injury was reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, he said.

Earlier ,  a top Lashkar-e-Toiba commander was among three militants killed in an overnight gunfight in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Monday.
