Two SPOs arrested with brown sugar in Kupwara, terminated from service

Kupwara Police arrested two SPOs with brown sugar carrying in the vehicle they were travelling in north Kashmir’s Kupwara.

Sources said that a police party from Kupwara recovered 14 grams of brown sugar from two persons both SPO’s in Dragmulla Kupwara.

The Alto car (JKO9B 6215) they were travelling in has also been seized. One of the SPOs is the resident of Chamkoot Karnah posted at SDH Kupwara while the other is the resident of Bumhuma Kupwara who is posted at District Police Lines Kupwara.

SSP Kupwara Dr Sandeep Chakarvarti told to KNS that Duo has been arrested.
The duo have absent from the last one month and Disengaged them immediately, he added.

Case against the duo has been registered.
